A Cat in a Dog's Body?
Have you ever heard of an Ocicat? Named
for its resemblance to the ocelot, the Ocicat is a new and still-rare breed of cat. The Ocicat has the temperament of a domestic animal, spots
resembling a 'wild' cat and is often considered to have the spirit of a dog. Hence, a spotted dog in a cat's body!
Ocicats are very easy to train. They're known to fetch, come when called, walk on a leash and harness, sit, speak and lie down on command and many other dog-type tricks.
Ocicats are very friendly with little fear of strangers. They also have little fear of water and actually beg to be petted. They make excellent family pets, and get along famously with all different types of animals.
If you're looking for a cat with those wonderful dog-like qualities of interacting with humans a lot, this is your breed. Like dogs, they do require more attention than your average cat, you know, the one with the attitude that we all love so?
Have a beautiful day,
Colleen
